Kolar police have detained two minors who have stolen two scooters worth Rs 1 lakh, accused were nabbed from Dussehra Maidan Banjari slum in Kolar. Acting on a tip off police team reached the spot to search for the miscreant and on the spot found a boy who was standing with a scooter. In the initial investigation when he was questioned he provided the address and age and it was found that he was minor. Regarding the scooter, he confessed to the crime and revealed that on October 4 at about 2 pm, he and his friend together stole this scooter bearing registration number MP04SY4269  from Good Shepherd Colony. In the further investigation the two confessed stealing another scooter bearing registration number MP09SV8094 from DK-2 Danish Kunj Kolar and which was kept near Banskhedi crematorium. Later, the vehicle was recovered from the place. The two seized vehicles were worth Rs 1 lakh. Police suspect that the two are accomplices of others who have helped and guided them. It is possible that the two have also stolen vehicles and disposed with the help of their aides and are habitual offenders.
