Drugs worth Rs 50 lakh seized

Malhargarh police of Mandsaur has arrested two drug peddlers and seized 500 gm of MD drugs worth Rs 50 lakh and 5 kg of poppy husk worth Rs15000. While giving information about this case in a press conference, Superintendent of Police Abhishek Anand said that Malhargarh police had received information from an informer, on which action was taken and accused Rajesh  Mali(29)  of  Sitamau and Ankit  Mali (19) years resident of Laduna police station Sitamau were stopped who were on a Bajaj Pulsar motor cycle without registration number from Malhargarh in front of Mandsaur Neemuch Highway Road, Krishi Mandi. The belongings of the two were checked in which 500 grams of MD drugs and 05 kg of Opium husk were seized from them. On arresting both the accused and interrogating them, both the smugglers told that they had brought MD drugs and husk from Rohit Parmar, of Palakhedi, Sitamau. Police have registered case under sections 8 and15,22,29 of the NDPS Act against the accused at Malhargarh police station and have taken it up for investigation.
