State Bank of India donates bus to Parimal society

In a gesture towards Corporate social responsibility, State Bank of India Bhopal Circle donated a bus to the Parimal Society, an NGO engaged with the Community Police Wing of Madhya Pradesh Police. The bus was handed over by Chief General Manager, SBI Bhopal Circle, Chander Shekhar Sharma to officials from Parimal Society, Bhopal, in the presence of dignitaries from Madhya Pradesh Police and State Govt officials. The bus was handed over during a Youth connect programme organized by MP police community police wing at Regional Science Centre, Bhopal on Thursday. In addition, SBI also donated Computer systems and required peripheral devices for the Research Lab and Skill/Learning Centre of the society to be used for violence affected children to re-orient them towards learning and empowering them. In his speech, CGM Bhopal Circle, Sharma said that this donation reaffirms our dedication to supporting initiatives that promote public safety and welfare. Several distinguished guests including Rashmi Arun Shami, PS, Dept. of Food, Govt. of MP, Addl. Police Commissioner Pankaj Srivastava, DIG Vineet Kapoor, Priyanka Shukla, Deputy Police Commissioner Zone-1, Saket Gourav, Project Cordinator, Regional Science Centre and other Top Police officials were present during the event.
