Sahityotsav Jashn-e-Adab Cultural Kaarvan Virasat 2024, a significant cultural event celebrating Indian art, culture, and literature, will be held in Bhopal, the capital city of Madhya Pradesh. This two-day cultural festival will take place on September 21 and 22, 2024, at the Old Ravindra Bhawan Auditorium, Professors Colony, Raj Bhavan Road. The program is organized in collaboration with the Ministry of Culture (Government of India), the Ministry of Tourism (Government of India), and the Income Tax Department, Bhopal. Eminent artists from across India will present their artistic works at the festival. Notably, entry will be free for all. Various cultural programs such as Ghazal, Drama, Mushaira, and Kavi Sammelan will be featured during the two-day event. The first day will start at 2:00 PM on September 21, 2024, with an opening ceremony. Following this, the program Rajbhasha, Dariya Prem Ka will be held. Dastangoi, presented by Syed Sahil Aga, will be a major attraction of the day. Additionally, Om Nischal, Indu Srivastava, Rachit Dixit, Aman Akshar, and renowned Kathak dancer Vidha Lal will showcase their art. Padmashree Ustad Ahmed Hussain and Padmashree Ustad Mohammad Hussain will add charm to the Sham-e-Ghazal gathering with their ghazals.The second day will begin at 1:00 PM on September 22, 2024, with an engaging Baitbaazi program. Following this, Om Nischal will present his views on 75 years of Hindi as the official language.
