Cleanliness fortnight commences with pledge

Under the leadership of Divisional Railway Manager, under ;Swachhata Vishesh Abhiyan Swachhata Pakhwada (Cleanliness Fortnight) started from Tuesday September 17 2024 with Swachhata Hi Seva. With the aim of realizing the pledge of cleanliness by doing Shramdaan Swachhata Hi Seva 2024 on Tuesday  September 17, 2024, Additional General Manager R.S. Saxena administered the oath of cleanliness to all the officers and employees of PVR Headquarters in the railway premises. In this Swachhata Pledge, the railway personnel pledged to do Shramdaan for 02 hours every week. Along with this, an oath was taken to promote Swachh Bharat Mission and to make the railway premises clean. On this occasion, Senior Deputy General Manager Neeraj Kumar, Chief Chief Mechanical Manager  Nitin Chaudhary, Chief Chief Engineer  Ashutosh, Chief Chief Electrical Engineer Mukesh, Chief Chief Telecom and Signal Engineer  Eknath Mohkar, Chief Chief Personnel Officer  Prabhat, Chief Chief Administrative Officer (Construction) M. S. Hashmi, Chief Commercial Manager (Passenger Services)  Rashmi Baghel, Secretary General Manager  Rahul Jaipuriar, Deputy General Manager (General)  Anurag Pandey along with other senior officers and a large number of employees were also present. Along with the Swachhata Pledge, various programs were run during the Swachhata Hi Seva fortnight in the three divisions and both factories of West Central Railway were also started. Apart from this, to create awareness about cleanliness, banners/posters related to the Swachhata Awareness Campaign are being put up at various places at the major stations of the division. Along with this, people are being made aware about cleanliness by broadcasting messages related to cleanliness awareness through the announcement system at the stations. West Central Railway Additional General Manager R.S. Saxena encouraged the Divisional Railway Managers of all three divisions and senior officers of the department and railway employees to make the cleanliness drive a success and to participate in the campaign enthusiastically and to continue playing such an active role in the future as well.
