Adopted as a necessity during the Covid-19 pandemic, MP Transco has inculcated online webinars as a part of the organizations regular work culture. For the last 87 weeks Transco has used online meetings and webinars to address young engineers posted at various locations across Madhya Pradesh.Highlighting the flexibility and cost-saving benefits provided by this technology upgrade, Sunil Yadav, superintending engineer at MP Transco, says, "We have achieved better synergy as webinars have helped foster more real-time knowledge sharing between members of the Transco team."We are able to draw on the expertise of our team members in real time and ensure that downtimes are minimized for transformers, transmission lines, substations, and other equipment and services."Buoyed by the success of these online interactions, Transco now organizes regular webinars on technical and management topics for its team, informed Yadav. Underlining the contribution of these webinars in boosting the confidence of engineers, especially those posted in remote areas, Yadav informed that senior officers like the Chief Engineer are also associated with these webinars.Chief Engineer PK Gargava, Executive Engineers Chandrakant Srivastava, Pranay Joshi, Ravinder Patel, and the Transco IT cell have made significant contributions to the success of these webinars, he added.
