LPG filling centre raided, cylinders seized

Officers of the Food and Civil Supplies raided a refilling center in Ashoka Garden and seized 16 domestic gas cylinders, a large number of commercial and small cylinders were also seized from the spot which were used to refill illegally. This action was taken against Rishi Enterprises located in Ashoka Garden. The team raided under the leadership of District Supply Controller Meena Malakar. Apart from cylinders, gas refilling items have also been seized from here. In the raid 16 domestic gas cylinders were found from the spot, 8 of them were filled, 1 commercial cylinder of 19 kg, 28 empty 5 kg substandard level, 6 empty 8 kg substandard level, one partially filled and one gas transfer device were seized. During this, a case has been registered under the Essential Commodities Act 1955 while making a panchnama. District supply controller Malakar said, the case will be presented in the collectors court and further action will be taken. Junior supply officers Pushparaj Patil, Mohit Meghvanshi and Mayank Dwivedi were also present during the action.
