Homeopath electrocuted at his Ashoka Garden house

A homeopathic doctor died after a high tension line broke and fell in  Sundar Nagar Colony of Ashoka Garden, three others sustained burn injuries. The incident took place at 8 pm on Monday night in Sundar Nagar Colony of Ashoka Garden. Due to waterlogging on the road, current spread. Doctor Upendra Tiwari got badly burnt. He was taken to a nearby private hospital where he died at 10 pm while undergoing treatment. According to the police, Doctor Upendra Tiwari was a resident of 80 Feet Road, Ashoka Garden. He used to operate a clinic with his wife Dr. Dimple Tiwari in Sundar Nagar. Like every day routine Upendra reached the clinic at 8 pm. The road outside the clinic was filled with water. Upendra was just opening the clinic when the high tension line wire broke and fell on the road. The doctor was removing the bike when a fire broke out after the high tension line fell. Due to waterlogging on the road, he got electrocuted. A fire broke out after the high tension line fell in the water on the road. Dr. Upendra, who was removing the bike, got electrocuted  and became unconscious after getting burn injuries. After the accident, the power went out. Then people took the doctor and other injured to the hospital for treatment, where the doctor was declared dead after some time of treatment. After the accident, there was a stampede situation at the spot for some time. After the news of the doctors death, a large number of local people gathered. They created a ruckus to fix the responsibility of the electricity department. Ashoka Garden police station TI Hemant Srivastava reached the spot with the staff. The people creating ruckus were pacified by assuring action. The police have registered a case. The accident is being investigated. Eyewitness Ashish Yadav said that at around 10.30 pm, the high tension line broke and fell down. After that the doctor came out. Then the light was switched on again. Doctor sahab touched the board due to which he got an electric shock, and he fell down. Here a boy pulled him away. People immediately took him to the hospital. Govindpura Assistant Engineer JC Kushwaha said that someone called us to switch off the lights. I am not aware of this. Maintenance is done there from time to time. When the news came at night, we immediately did the maintenance of that too.
