Shah and CM offer prayers at Pitreshwar temple

Union Home and Cooperative Minister Amit Shah and Chief Minister Dr. Mohan Yadav planted saplings at Pitreshwar Hanuman Dham in Indore under the Ek Ped Maa Ke Naam campaign started for environmental protection on a call by Prime Minister Narendra Modi. Earlier, he offered prayers at the Hanuman Dham temple and prayed for the happiness and prosperity of the country and the state.  Urban Development and Housing Minister Kailash Vijayvargiya and Uttar Pradesh Legislative Council Member Mahendra Singh also planted saplings.               Union Home Minister Shah planted a Peepal sapling in memory of his late mother, Kusumben Shah, as part of the campaign. Similarly, Chief Minister Yadav planted a banyan tree in memory of his late mother, Leela Poonamchand Yadav, and Urban Development and Housing Minister Kailash Vijayvargiya planted a tree in memory of his late mother, Smt. Ayodhyadevi Vijayvargiya. They not only planted saplings but also urged the public to join in protecting the environment by planting trees and taking a pledge to keep the Earth green.
