A 29-year-old man was found dead in a pond in front of Bhopal Central Jail Gandhi Nagar on Sunday, he was not identified late at night. The postmortem of the body was done on Monday. The family alleged that on June 27, he was sent to jail by the Govindpura police. After this, the information of his death was received directly and they suspect that he was murdered. Gandhi Nagar police said that a case has been registered in the matter. The spot has been inspected by the FSL team. The real cause of death will be revealed in the postmortem report. SI Kanhaiyalal Yadav of Gandhi Nagar police station said that Pramod Chaudhary(29), resident of Anna Nagar Govindpura, used to do vegetable business. On Thursday, he had a dispute with his wife. His wife complained about this in Govindpura police station. On the complaint of his wife, the police took him into custody. Action was taken under section 151 and he was sent to jail the next day. He was released on June 29 as per the jail records. On Sunday, June 30, his body was found in a pond in front of the jail. The body was taken out with the help of divers. He could not be identified then. The body could be identified on Sunday night. In the initial investigation, the case seems to be suicide. The deceaseds maternal uncle Rajesh Chaudhary said that Pramod was sent to jail by Govindpura police. After a mutual dispute, his wife complained against him in the police station. No one in the family had taken his bail. We do not know who took his bail. We also do not know when he was released. On Sunday night, Govindpura police itself informed us about his death. We suspect that someone has done something wrong with him. He has been murdered. Pramods family has also informed that he was addicted to drinking alcohol. He used to quarrel with his wife every day while drunk. Pramod was originally from Narsinghpur. He was doing business in Bhopal for a long time. He was married to Pooja eight years ago. They have two children, 7-year-old Princy and 3-year-old Prajul. On Monday afternoon, the police handed over the body to the family after the post-mortem.
