Three new justice-centric laws, the Indian Justice Code, the Indian Civil Defense Code and the Indian Evidence Act, are going to be implemented across the country from July 1. For the first time since independence, the laws have been focused on justice and not punishment. To provide easy and quick justice to the victims, Madhya Pradesh Police has trained more than 60000 police officers and employees after 6 months of hard work, 302 master trainers were trained by the training branch, through these master trainers, officers and employees of the police headquarters as well as constables to senior officers in the districts were continuously trained in a planned manner. Training schools, seminars and workshops were organized from zone to police station/outpost level to make the officers and employees who have been investigating on the basis of old laws aware of the new laws. Many innovations also came up at the district level for training. Information about the Indian Justice Code, Indian Civil Defense Code and the Indian Evidence Act was given by organizing FAQs and mock tests in the districts. Along with this, police officers and employees were asked to solve question papers related to laws. Apart from this, officers and employees in the police station got information about the laws by having group discussions. In order to provide easy justice to the victims and to ensure that there is no hindrance in the investigation of the incident, Madhya Pradesh Police has also trained more than 31000 investigators. Apart from this, police officers and employees operating the Crime and Criminal Tracking Network and System (CCTNS) in all the districts have also been trained on how to enter the daily report in CCTNS.
