Class XII Rajasthan board exams begins today

AJMER: Class XII board examinations of Rajasthan Board of Secondary Education (RBSE) will begin from March 7 and will end on April 2. “There are 59 centres that are marked sensitive and 31 centres are marked extra-sensitive. Class X board examinations will start from March 14.It may be noted that around 95,000 more students will write examinations as compared to last year’s examination.English will be the first subject of the Class XII examination.Board secretary Meghna Choudhary said that there are 5,586 examination centres in the state. We have made proper security arrangements in sensitive examination centres,” said Meghna.She added that there are 310 centres, all covered with CCTV cameras and all answersheet collection centres are installed with CCTV cameras. Seventy nine centres have increased as compared to last year.

Hundred twenty five flying squads and 60 special flying squads are constituted to cover each centre of the state preventing any malpractice.Jodhpur, Barmer, Sawai Madhopur, Sikar, Nagaur, Jhunjhunu, Dausa and Karauli are districts where all actions from paper collection to paper distribution will be monitored through videography.She has asked education officials to stay alert and follow directions mentioned by the board for conducting examinations.
