Admin starts paving road in martyrrsquos village

According to the villagers, no major development work had taken place in the village in recent years.On Friday, district magistrate (DM) NG Ravi Kumar, additional district magistrate KP Singh, sub divisional magistrate Abhishek Kumar Singh and other officials rushed to Kehrai village to meet the family of Rawat. Orders were also passed to mend all the roads leading to the village. Besides, politicians associated with different parties also reached the village.The officers, on their way to Rawat’s home, noticed the “lack of development”.

As the news of his demise reached his house, all the senior district officials converged at the village. Soon, the stretch leading to the Rawat’s home was repaired and made pothole free. Orders were also passed to mend all the roads leading to the village. According to the villagers, no major development work had taken place in the village in recent years.On Friday, district magistrate (DM) NG Ravi Kumar, additional district magistrate KP Singh, sub divisional magistrate Abhishek Kumar Singh and other officials rushed to Kehrai village to meet the family of Rawat. Besides, politicians associated with different parties also reached the village.The officers, on their way to Rawat’s home, noticed the “lack of development”. Interacting with the DM, locals expressed their anguish over the matter. Following this, the DM ordered officials to launch the repair and development work in the village.Before the cremation of the CRPF jawan on Saturday afternoon, workers of Agra Municipal Corporation (AMC) and other departments had cleared waterlogging on the main route and all the potholes were covered.SDM Abhishek Kumar Singh said: “A lot of development works have been planned in this village. Road repairing work has been initiated. Adequate drainage system will also be there soon.”
