The insurance will cover all emergency medical and associated expenses if things go wrong, and will cover expenses up to £500,000 per passenger while abroad. Referring to the amount, Virgin says that it is the highest value of policy that is offered by any airline to date, and that too with no excess payment. In addition to this, the insurance cover will also pay out up to £3,000 if a customer is denied boarding due to COVID-19, or needs to undergo quarantine due to a positive or suspected case during a trip.
The insurance cover will cover all your emergency medical costs, associated expenses, such as accommodation, transport, and repatriation home, if required.
This insurance cover applies to anyone with a Virgin Atlantic plane ticket, even if their flight is operated by a partner carrier, such as Delta Air Lines or Air France-KLM.
