Kailash Mansarovar Yatra

Mt. Kailash is situated in Tibet, which is under the control of China. It is located at an altitude of 6638 Meters. Mansarovar lake is located approximately 45 km from Mt. Kailash at an altitude of 4590 Meters. Mt. Kailash is important due to its location and geography; it is the highest part of the world, and it is a source of four mighty rivers of the region: The Brahmaputra, The Sutlej, The Ganges, and the Indus. The Kailash Mansarovar Yatra is the holiest and most spiritual yatra of Hindus. It is believed that Mt. Kailash is the own house of Lord Shiva. Every year thousands of pilgrims and devotees undertake the divine yatra from various parts of the country & the world as well.

As per the Hindu methodology, Lord Shree Brahma conceived the idea of the Kailash Mansarovar and named it Manasarovar, which is a combination of two words ‘Manas’ (mind) and ‘Sarovar’ (lake). 

Kailash Mansarovar Yatra is something very special that cannot be described in words and personally experienced. Every year thousands of pilgrims visit there by booking Kailash Mansarovar Yatra Packages. This package includes food and lodging for the devotees. The major attraction of Kailash yatra is the holy parikrama of Kailash Parvat and a holy dip in Mansarovar Lake. The mesmerizing view of the mountains with a breathtaking view of the lake provide a sense of happiness, pure and heavenly to the visitors. 

The sacred journey of Kailash Mansarovar starts from the ancient city of Kathmandu followed by a small drive to Saga. During the journey, several meditation sessions have been organized for the visitors at the religious lake. In these sessions, pious or devotees enchant the name of Shiva in search of enlightenment. This journey impacts devotee’s life and drastically changed their life. Every year for a hassle-free journey and divine experience the Government of India organized Kailash Mansarovar Yatra by asking for registration forms and online booking. Kailash Mansarovar`s booking is very cost-effective.

Before starting the Yatra the person needs to spend 3 or 4 days in Delhi for preparations and medical tests. Delhi Government provides free boarding and lodging facilities for Yatris only. Yatris are at liberty to make their own arrangements for boarding and lodging in Delhi. This Yatra involves trekking at high altitudes of up to 19,500 feet, under extremes weather and inhospitable conditions, and rugged terrain, and may prove hazardous for physically and medically unfit people. The itinerary provided is tentative and visits to the places are subject to local conditions at any point in time. Before starting the yatra the devotees must sign the undertaking form that they are liable for in any manner for any loss of life or injury to a Yatri, or any loss or damage to property of a Yatri due to any natural calamity or due to any other reason. The Government of India will not be responsible for any loss.
