7 Essentials That You Should Carry When Traveling To India

.

India is one of the prime destinations for adventure or holidays due to its vast geography and diverse climatic regions, from steep hills of the Himalayas to golden beaches of South India. If you are planning a tour to India then you will need to carry some essentials with you that you will need during the trip. Here are the essentials that you should carry when traveling to India:

1. Comfortable Clothes
Depending on which region you will be visiting and exploring, you should pack comfortable clothes with you. This is not for India but for everywhere else, wherever you are going, make sure that you pack comfy clothes in your bag. Light clothes, pajamas, t-shirts, extra pair of socks, and an extra cold weather jacket, in case something goes wrong.

2. Comfortable Shoes
Along with comfortable clothes, comfortable footwear is also necessary. If you are packing formal shoes for your trip then you won’t enjoy your trip at all. Whichever region you are planning to visit, whether it is the steep hills or plains, multiple pairs of comfortable footwear are essential. Along with all of this, a pair of slip-on shoes or crocs will also work just as fine.

3. Oversized Scarf
Since India is one of those countries in the world that is full of spiritual and religious people, an oversized scarf is also essential. India is home to so many temples and shrines and as per the rules of these holy places, visitors are required to cover their heads all the time whenever they are visiting these places in order to pay their respects.

4. Powerbank
This is something that is a must wherever you are going. Our smartphones have become an essential part of our lives and we need smartphones to socialize and stay connected with our friends and family members. However, when you are traveling and on the go, then your phone’s charging isn’t going to last forever and you will have to get it charged.

In such cases, a fully charged power bank with huge capacity will come in very handy to help you charge your phone and reconnect with your loved ones anywhere, at any time. In emergency situations, it might even become the savior that you need.

5. Travel Router
A travel router is also very useful when you are traveling to India. Although you will have your mobile phone and SIM card with which you can access the Internet at any given time, using mobile data drains a huge amount of battery and can drain the battery of your mobile phone in no time. Plus, if you are traveling with other people such as family members or friends then they will also need to use the internet.

In such cases when you are on the go, you can use a travel router to help you. Not only does a travel router save the battery of your mobile phone and provide you with high-speed internet but it also allows multiple devices to be connected to the network at the same time.

You can configure how many devices can be connected simultaneously by visiting the default gateway address of the travel router such as 10.0.0.1 and then configuring it. It can also be done through 192.168.100.1 or the default gateway address of your router which differs from router to router.

6. Earphones
This is something that you shouldn’t forget no matter where you go. Earphones are something that will keep you entertained and away from unnecessary chatter on local transpiration. If you forget your earphones while you are traveling to India then unless you buy a pair of good earphones, you won’t enjoy your trip at all.

7. Ziplock Bags
Ziplock bags are also an essential necessity that you should keep with yourself when you are on an adventure. Ziplock bags have multiple uses and you can use them for multiple purposes in difficult situations. You can use these bags to store foods, keep your electronics dry while you are crossing the water, store your dirty clothes, etc. In urgent times, these ziplock bags are very useful and in a country like India, you won’t regret packing them in your bag.

Along with these things, you should forget to pack other essential things which can conclude everyday hygiene products such as toothpaste, soap, toothbrush, towel, toilet paper, medications, and tablets (if you have any health condition), etc.
