The Metaverse is chugging along, but does anyone care?

The mood is so bleak that when the word metaverse is mentioned in conjunction with Apple’s Vision Pro device, the fan base and technology press will claim that it is not a metaverse device but something else. Hence, I think it will outsell the Vision Pro many times over. It will be lighter with much-improved optics and user experience, but it is not going to break any barriers. Against that backdrop, The Metaverse remains on schedule, which may be accelerated somewhat by Apple’s entry and its different approach to solving the user experience shortcomings. The Metaverse remains largely uninvestableDespite this, the Metaverse remains largely uninvestable because all of the companies that are in pole position to flourish as a result of the Metaverse currently make very small or no revenues from it.
