Always keep a water bottle with you. Avoid beverages that strip off the water from your system and leave you feeling dry.

Take steam- Make sure you take steam once or twice every week. Steam inhalation clears your nasal and respiratory passage and keeps you away from cold and congestion. Steam also helps your body to fight away any viruses or bacteria present in your body that could lead you to fall sick.

Eat food that has medicinal properties- Taking care of your diet is very important. Eating a balanced diet keeps you healthy and active. There are certain foods like turmeric and honey which have medicinal properties and can prevent you from falling sick. You can consume turmeric with warm milk for best results. Turmeric is a natural healer and will not let you fall sick. Honey can be consumed either directly or mixed with warm water to show maximum results.

Add spice to your food- Spices reduce inflammation that is caused by cold and cough. Add spices like turmeric, ginger, garlic, cinnamon, clove and pepper to your food to stay away from any sort of cold.

Take proper rest- Don’t overexert your body as it can make you fall sick. Keep in mind that taking rest is important to lead a healthy life. Make sure you get enough sleep in the night and stay active during the day so that you don’t have a chance at falling sick at all.
