Lok Sabha Election 2024: List Of Candidates Who Won Elections With Lowest Margin Since 1952

Lok Sabha Election 2024: India has witnessed 17 Lok Sabha elections so far many interesting figures coming out in every election. Did you know who has registered the biggest victory in the election history of the country so far? It was recorded in the name of CR Patil of BJP. In 2019, Patil won the election from Navsari Lok Sabha constituency of Gujarat by a margin of 6,89,668 votes. However, its not about the biggest victory, but today we will talk about the candidates who have created a new record by winning the Lok Sabha elections with the least number of votes. If we look at the Lok Sabha elections from 1962 to 2019, 15 candidates have won by less than 500 votes. Two candidates won the election by just nine votes. Lets look at these interesting statistics: Leaders Who Won With Least Number Of Votes Congress leader Konathala Ramakrishna and late BJP leader Som Marandi hold the record of winning elections with the least number of votes. In 1989, Konathala Ramakrishna won the election from Anakapalli Lok Sabha constituency of Andhra Pradesh by just nine votes. In 1998, Som Marandi won the Rajmahal seat by just nine votes.
