Maruti Suzuki India Limited (MSIL) launch its vehicle subscription programme

This programme will allow a customer to use a new car without actually owning it by paying an all-inclusive monthly fee that comprehensively covers complete maintenance, insurance and roadside assistance, MSIL said in a statement.

A big announcement made by Maruti Suzuki India Limited (MSIL) on Thursday by making launch of its vehicle subscription programme, called ‘Maruti Suzuki Subscribe’ for individuals in Delhi, NCR region (Noida, Ghaziabad, Faridabad, Gurugram) and Bengaluru.

This programme will allow a customer to use a new car without actually owning it by paying an all-inclusive monthly fee that comprehensively covers complete maintenance, insurance and roadside assistance, MSIL said in a statement.

By this service, the customers can choose to subscribe to a new Swift, Dzire, Vitara Brezza and Ertiga from Maruti Suzuki ARENA and a new Baleno, Ciaz and XL6 from NEXA, the MSIL said.  Customers can select a duration ranging from 12 months to 48 months. They will be required to pay a monthly subscription charge of INR 14,463 (including taxes) for Swift Lxi in Delhi for 48 months.

For making it more convenient to people MSIL said, this subscription is all-inclusive and covers expenses like maintenance, insurance and 24x7 roadside assistance. On completion of the subscription tenure, the customer can also opt to upgrade vehicle, extend, or buy the car at the market price.

Shashank Srivastava, executive director in marketing and sales, MSIL, said the programme is especially focused on bringing convenience to the individual customers. Besides the flexibility of tenure, it offers nil down payment and includes registration costs, insurance and its renewal as well as routine maintenance. Additionally, the roadside assistance service brings total peace of mind to the customers. Progressively we aim to offer Maruti Suzuki Subscribe in 40-60 cities in the next two to three years.
