Thane: Infant kidnapped near Mumbra railway station

THANE: A 10-month-old boy was abducted near Mumbra railway station on Sunday night. Police said the infant's father, Abdul Khan (22), lives near the station with his wife and two children Arbaz (3) and Salman, who was kidnapped. "At 8.30pm-9pm, the boy's nine-year-old cousin took him for a walk. But she fled with the baby," said a police officer.Police said they had roped in police teams, crime branch and child protection unit to search for the boy. A little later, she returned crying, and said as she was sitting near a medical shop when a woman gave her Rs 10 told her to bring kheema pav, and said she will hold the baby till she returned.
