Had complained of cracks: Resident of ill-fated Ulhasnagar building

ULHASNAGAR: The first-floor resident of Ulhasnagar 's Memsahab building where a slab collapse killed three people, including a toddler, had complained about cracks in the ceiling due to work on the floor above.The second-floor slab caved in on Sunday and came crashing down on a clinic on the ground floor.
We will check if the Motwani family had undertaken work illegally.
The three deceased had been waiting at the clinic to see the doctor.The resident, Bhavesh Nagdev, whose flat was also damaged, said he had complained to the Motwani family that owns the second-floor flat.
"Karan Maurya, Anita's brother, said, "My sister had gone to the dcotor's clinic as Priya was unwell and for Vandana's check-up."
