Surprise inspection at Lalu ward

On March 16, a police team led by senior officials carried out the operation on suspicion that Lalu might be in possession of a mobile phone. “The party’s central leadership is looking into the issue,” he said, adding that BJP veteran and Patna Sahib MP Satrughan Sinha would be formally joining the Congress on April 6. The administration, however, found nothing barring a pen.Meanwhile, Roshra MLA Dr Ashok Ram, who is a Congress nominee from Samastipur parliamentary constituency, said he met Lalu to seek his blessing.Talking to media persons before his entring the hospital, Ram hoped that issues over seats between RJD and the mahagatbandhan would soon be sorted out.
