I am available on multiple social media portals so there is no reason of him not being able to highlight the issue. As the video went viral,(NCP) representatives filed a complaint against him for allegedly defaming Sule on social media. —Pramod Pansare, video makerPramod Pansare, a youngster from Baramati, found himself on a sticky wicket after he shot a video blaming NCP MP Supriya Sule and MLAfor not repairing a road between Supa and Pandeshwar villages. Hence I chose to shoot the video and post it on social media. I just wanted to ensure that the road condition improves.”NCP leaders from Baramati, however, chose to file a police complaint against Pansare.

Baramati youth Supriya Sule Ajit Pawar Nationalist Congress Party Baramati Iam a voter from this area and as a citizen I wanted to voice my concerns. Hence I chose to shoot the video and post it on social media. I did not expect the video to get such a huge response. Ijust wanted to ensure that the road condition improves. —Pramod Pansare, video maker Pramod Pansare, a youngster from Baramati, found himself on a sticky wicket after he shot a video blaming NCP MP Supriya Sule and MLAfor not repairing a road between Supa and Pandeshwar villages. As the video went viral,(NCP) representatives filed a complaint against him for allegedly defaming Sule on social media. While Pansare has stated that NCP is trying to supress him by filing the police complaint, Sule has alleged that he is a BJP troll who posted the video to malign her image that is in violation of the model code of conduct.Pansare, a resident of Supa village intaluka, had shot the video in which he was seen questioning the MP and MLA on why they had not bothered to repair the road between Supa and Pandeshwar. In the video that shows the condition of the road, he is also seen stating that though the area is ruled by the NCP, the authorities have failed to construct a small road from his village. He also shot the entire stretch in video by travelling on the road. While the video was initially shared by him on WhatsApp and Facebook, it went viral in no time.Speaking to Mirror, Pansare said, “I am a voter from this area and as a citizen I wanted to voice my concerns. Hence I chose to shoot the video and post it on social media. I did not expect the video to get such a huge response. I just wanted to ensure that the road condition improves.”NCP leaders from Baramati, however, chose to file a police complaint against Pansare. Along with the cops they also submitted applications to the tehsildar and sub-divisional officer, demanding that a case should be filed against him. The leaders have alleged that he is a member of the social media team of the ruling party and has hence the video was posted on purpose and should be considered a violation of model code of conduct. An official from Baramati police station said, “We have received the application. However, whether it is a violation of the model code of conduct can only be decided by the administrative authorities. Once their investigation is done the case will be filed based on the report submitted by them.”Pansare has claimed that this is harassment. He added, “Don’t I have a right to put forth my demands? This case is clearly a pressure tactic from NCP members.”Sule has, however, refuted the claim and has said that Pansare did not approach her or Ajit Pawar with his concerns even once.Stating that this is a BJP strategy against the backdrop of elections, she said “If this person was facing so many problems he should have approached us at least once. I am available on multiple social media portals so there is no reason of him not being able to highlight the issue. Also as far as the road is concerned, it falls under two assembly constituencies, one is Baramati and other is Purandar. So even though it is not entirely our responsibility, Ajit Pawar has been following up on the issue for a long time. When we checked who this person is, it turned out that he is a member of the BJP’s social media team and hence we decided to file a complaint against him. I feel sad that the BJP has stooped to this level ahead of elections.”
