I will seek mandate based on my work done here,” Chirag told reporters.Deliberating on the works done by him in the last five years, Chirag said: “It was for the first time that a Kendriya Vidyalaya was opened. Rather than addressing core issues like unemployment, he has been working on the agenda of RSS,” Kushwaha told reporters. I succeeded in bringing one out of five new medical colleges for Bihar and also a mega rail project in my constituency. The biggest reason behind his victory will be the false promises made by PM Narendra Modi. Given the kind of support witnessed, I am quite certain that Bhudev will win this one-sided election as people from all castes and religions are supporting him.

PATNA: Like a father holds his adolescent son’s hand while taking him to school or to examination, LJP chief Ram Vilas Paswan on Monday walked his 38-year-old son Chirag Paswan to Jamui district electoral office where the latter filed his nomination papers for contesting the ensuing Lok Sabha election.Chirag, the sitting MP from Jamui, is pitted against Mahagathbandhan candidate Bhudev Choudhary (RLSP).Earlier in the morning, Chirag performed puja along with his father, mother Reena Paswan and uncle Pashupati Kumar Paras and other close relatives. “I have complete faith that people of Jamui will stand with Chirag again as he has fulfilled most the promises he had made during the last election,” the senior Paswan said.“It was a challenge for me to fulfil the promises I had made to the people of Jamui in the last general election. I will seek mandate based on my work done here,” Chirag told reporters.Deliberating on the works done by him in the last five years, Chirag said: “It was for the first time that a Kendriya Vidyalaya was opened. I succeeded in bringing one out of five new medical colleges for Bihar and also a mega rail project in my constituency. Besides, a divisional office of Food Corporation of India and a new passport office opened in Jamui.”After filling the papers, Chirag addressed a public meeting, which was attended by NDA leaders, including BJP state president Nityanand Rai and state public health and engineering minister Vinod Narayan Jha.Chirag lauded PM Narendra Modi for giving a “befitting reply to neighbouring country” and CM Nitish Kumar for taking Bihar on the trajectory of development. “The double-engine of the NDA government at the Centre as well as in Bihar is bringing manifold development in the state,” Chirag said, adding he believed the people of Jamui would return him to the Lok Sabha this time again. But RLSP chief Upendra Kushwaha asserted that his party candidate would defeat Chirag. “I am here since last night. Given the kind of support witnessed, I am quite certain that Bhudev will win this one-sided election as people from all castes and religions are supporting him. The biggest reason behind his victory will be the false promises made by PM Narendra Modi. Rather than addressing core issues like unemployment, he has been working on the agenda of RSS,” Kushwaha told reporters.
