Dengue strikes even in winters, 93 cases so far

JAIPUR: Even in winters, dengue has taken toll on the health of the people in the city. Doctors and diagnostic centres have to report every case of dengue to health authorities without fail, as it is a notifiable disease. So far this year, 93 persons have already been tested positive for dengue in the city. Also, dengue was declared as notifiable disease last year. Dengue is a mosquito-borne disease and the cases of the disease are commonly reported during rains and post rainy season Last year, dengue was declared as Perianal disease as the cases are being reported in winters as well in increased numbers.
