Indore: The scrap dealer, whose body was found stuffed in a jute sack barely100m from his house in Khajrana area, was murdered by his wife and her paramour in Khajrana area on March 28. She had been giving him sleeping pills secretly for past one week, police said.The woman, Firoza Khan, had an affair with her 29-year-old brother-in-law Imtiyaz alias Munna Khan and she wanted to marry him.The duo hatched a plan of Bablu’s murder . As per their plan, Firoza started spiking his food with sleeping pills every day. She increased the dose day by day. On Thursday night, Firoza called Imtiyaz and hid him inside the house for over an hour. After she was sure that Bablu had reached an unconscious state, she called Imtiyaz who first attacked Bablu with a stick on his head and then slit his throat.They put clothes on his body and Rs 10,000 in his pocket. They also placed a postcard size picture of a woman to mislead police. The body was stuffed in a jute sack and Imtiyaz dragged it towards a borrowed two-wheeler. He was planning to dump it in a nullah but as he passed the colony, some dogs started barking at him. Scared by this, he dumped the body on an empty plot near the house and fled the spot.On Friday morning when police reached the spot and were about to open the sack, Firoza also reached there and identified the body even before the sack was opened. This surprised the officials, who also found out that Imtiyaz was missing from last rites of Bablu.He was rounded up and when questioned he admitted to have committed the crime.
