After quitting BJP, ex-minister Harsh Kumar joins JJP

CHANDIGARH: In a setback to the BJP, former minister Harsh Kumar joined the Jannayak Janta Party (JJP) at a function in Palwal on Sunday.Hisar MP Dushyant Chuatala chaired the event. Harsh Kumar's joining is seen as a major setback to Union minister and Faridabad MP Krishan Pal Gurjar. Dushyant said the former saffron party leader would get "adequate regard and representation" in the activities of JJP. He said 75% quota should be extended to the residents of Haryana in employment opportunities in the private sector. He said Kumar would strengthen JJP in the National Capital Region (NCR) of Haryana.Dushyant promised to bring down the age for old-age pension to 58 years for men and 55 years for women.
