Punjab Horticulture Minister meets Danish Ambassador to explore bilateral cooperation

Punjab Horticulture Minister Chetan Singh Jouramajra held a productive meeting with the Royal Danish Embassys Ambassador Freddy Svane in New Delhi on Sunday. The high-level talks focused on strengthening mutual relations and exploring potential business collaborations between Punjab and Denmark.   Jouramajra and Ambassador Svane engaged in comprehensive discussions on sustainable agriculture, innovative horticultural practices, food processing, biogas development, groundwater management, efficient irrigation, water conservation techniques, and dairy sector cooperation.   Highlighting Punjabs rich agricultural heritage and modernization efforts, Minister Jouramajra emphasized the states commitment to international partnerships for agricultural growth and economic development. He noted that focusing on biogas development, groundwater management, and efficient irrigation aligns with both regions sustainability goals.   Ambassador Svane shared Denmarks expertise in sustainable farming, renewable energy, and water management, expressing keen interest in potential collaborations. Jouramajra assured that he would arrange a meeting between Punjab Chief Minister Bhagwant Mann and Ambassador Svane to further strengthen ties.   The meeting marked a significant step in enhancing Indo-Danish relations at the state level, potentially paving the way for future collaborations benefiting Punjabs agricultural and allied sectors and Danish businesses.
