StarHub puts data at center of prepaid with free voice calls

Customers using StarHub’s ‘Happy Prepaid’ app can choose between six prepaid data plans, ranging from S$2.00 (30MB and free calls for three days) to S$25 (5GB and free calls for 30 days). StarHub says it is now offering its prepaid customers free local outgoing voice calls as long as they have an active data plan in a bid to simplify the customer experience. Even when they run out of data, customers can continue having phone conversations until the plan expires. For example, a customer who signs up for the 30-day plan and burns through his/her 5GB on the tenth day, will still be able to keep making free local calls for the remaining 20 days. “Simplicity is key and we will continually enhance our services to ensure we deliver the best possible experience to customers,” he said.
